"It was an amazing summer!"
Julia Bilbao - CRY HAVOC Apprentice, Summer 2011
The CRY HAVOC Apprentice Program is a unique and fully immersive early-career development program focused on providing rigorous training to artists in the areas of new play development, arts management, and in the skills of their chosen theatrical discipline.
Each Apprentice is assigned both a personal Staff Mentor and Artistic Mentor from within CRY HAVOC’s Resident Company. CRY HAVOC trainees work closely with their Staff Mentors on special projects in the mentor’s department, seeing these projects from conceptualization to completion during their time with the company.
Trainees also receive extensive craft training in the form of classes, seminars, and mentorship of trainee-initiated artistic projects conducted in collaboration with professional members of the CRY HAVOC Resident Company.
How to apply:
Send a letter of interest and resume to Associate Artistic Director Jenny Kirlin at apprenticeships@cryhavoccompany.org. Please indicate if you are interested in the Summer, Fall, or Spring term.
"The CRY HAVOC apprenticeship is unique because the company takes the time to tailor their apprenticeship program to your unique strengths and interests."
