FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, NY (January 27, 2010) – The CRY HAVOC Company announced today that it has launched its new company website, www.cryhavoccompany.org. The new site serves as the online component for fulfilling the Company’s mission to build an interactive community of artists, supporters, and audience members who share a dedication to the development and production of raw, provocative, and humane theater.

“We want our new site to serve as the home for a vibrant conversation about theater,” said CRY HAVOC Acting Managing Director Peter J. Crosby. “It allows our entire community of actors, writers, designers, and audience to participate in the development of some of the most interesting and challenging plays of the next decade.”

The website was conceived and designed by dress code (www.dresscodeny.com), a branding and design studio in New York City. The site features photography of the CRY HAVOC Resident Company by Shirin Tinati (www.shirintinati.com).

The website will highlight news of the Company’s upcoming readings and productions, as well as ticket information and the opportunity to financially support the Company’s activities. Featuring a weekly podcast, future video logs of the Company’s development process, and an interactive blog, the site will offer the chance for an interactive dialogue between artists and audience as the Company’s projects develop through various stages.
